In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre visited their family in Lucca, Italy. Upon their return to their native San Francisco, the two brought with them something of great importance: handwritten recipes, which they then used to create authentic flavored syrups. These syrups played a pivotal role in Rinaldo and Ezilda's reintroduction of the Italian soda to their local neighborhood. Years later, our syrup was utilized to craft the world's first flavored latte.

We have remained a family-owned company, steadfastly adhering to the high-quality standards established by Rinaldo and Ezilda nearly 90 years ago. Each and every one of our syrups, sauces, and smoothies is crafted with the utmost care and pride, a commitment shared by our entire family, which includes more than 100 members that make up the Torani team.
